Who we are
WedChic is a virtual wedding planning service operated by Cyan Dickinson. Our website is www.wedchic.co.uk and you can contact us at hello@wedchic.co.uk.
What data we collect
When you book a session, we collect your name, email address, and payment details (processed securely by TidyCal and Stripe — we never store card details ourselves). When you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.
How we use your data
We use your data solely to deliver the service you have booked, send you your Zoom link and written plan, and respond to your enquiries. We do not sell, share, or pass your data to third parties except where required to deliver the service (e.g. Zoom, TidyCal).
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of contract performance — i.e. to fulfil the booking you have made with us.
How long we keep your data
We retain booking records for six years in line with HMRC requirements. Email correspondence is retained for two years and then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. Email hello@wedchic.co.uk to exercise any of these rights.
Cookies
Our website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
